FAQ: Does N87xx work normally even if L1, L2 and L3 are connected to any phase ?

For the 3φ products (N8700 series); it is not required that the phase points labelled “L1”, “L2” and “L3” from the diagram, connect to the screws marked as “L1”, “L2” and “L3” on the connector. The order can be changed without damage to the product. It is required that each of the three (3) individual connections “L1”, “L2” and “L3” be made. Also, it is necessary for “Earth” (safety ground) to be connected as shown.
